Written Step-by-Step Walkthrough
00:00: Seal your first file, download your proof records, and start building a clear evidence trail for your creative work.
00:05: Welcome to CREATORSEAL. In this tutorial, you will learn how to create your account, verify your email address, complete your creator profile, and seal your first creative file.
00:19: You will also learn how to download your Receipt of Provenance Record and Evidence Bundle so you can preserve a clear record of what you created, when it existed, and which version was sealed.
00:47: Go to the CREATORSEAL homepage. Scroll down until you see the "Protect Your Work" section.
01:00: You can start sealing a file from different places on the CREATORSEAL website. Click any "Seal a File" button, including the button in the top-right header.
01:18: If you are a new user, CREATORSEAL will take you to the Create Account page. If you already have an account, you can sign in from this page or from the header.
01:48: Type the email address you want to use for your CREATORSEAL account. Create a secure password using at least 8 characters and confirm it. Click "Get Started" to create your CREATORSEAL account.
02:10: CREATORSEAL will send a confirmation email. Open the email and click "Confirm Email" to verify your address and activate your account.
02:36: Continue setting up your creator profile. Enter your legal name — the name you use in an official capacity for contracts, legal records, court records, or formal disputes.
03:22: Select your Country/Jurisdiction — the country, state, province, or legal region most closely connected to you, your business entity, or the ownership of the work being sealed.
04:14: Enter your public-facing name or studio name, an optional artist name or pen name, and an optional company or studio if applicable. Choose your creator type and click "Complete Setup."
05:16: Choose the project type that best describes the work you are sealing. Enter a clear name for the project, file, or creative work.
06:15: Add a draft description that explains what this sealed file represents — a one-off final file, a draft, a chapter, a revision, or any creative milestone.
07:34: Click the drop zone area to select the file you want to seal. Your file does not need to be uploaded — the cryptographic fingerprint is created in your browser.
08:22: Click "Download Receipt" to save your Receipt of Provenance Record. Click "Download Full Evidence Bundle" to save the complete technical proof materials.
09:00: Click "Go to Dashboard" to view your sealed projects, sealed files, and account activity.
09:17: Click "Seal & Protect a File" whenever you want to seal another file, such as Draft 2, Version 2, or a final revision — building a stronger evidence trail over time.
10:29: Select the version type — new original seal, update, revision, or later version — and link the new seal to the earlier sealed file to connect them.
11:55: Drop the updated file to begin creating the cryptographic fingerprint for this new version. Download the new Receipt and Evidence Bundle.
12:33: Return to your Dashboard, expand details on any sealed file, and continue building your CREATORSEAL evidence trail as your project develops.
12:59: You have successfully created a CREATORSEAL account, verified your email, completed your creator profile, and sealed your creative work.
13:22: Use CREATORSEAL as part of your proof disciplines — seal important versions before sharing, preserve your creation history, and keep your evidence trail organized.
